CSA Workshop: Opportunities for Standards in Rail Electrification

This interactive workshop is focused on exploring opportunities for the electrification of transit rail and

passenger rail through the development of new national standards.

The workshop will open with a presentation from the Chair and Vice Chair of CSA Group’s existing Rail

Electrification committee. This committee is currently in the process of developing a new national

standard for electrified rail and the presenters will give an update on this work.

The later part of the workshop is designed to foster active participation from the attendees. This open

discussion will offer an opportunity to collaborate, gather insights, and harness collective expertise to

guide future Rail Electrification standardization work at CSA Group.
