The Place to Be
The Number One Canadian Indoor/Outdoor Transit & Rail Trade Show and Conference
Rail Day is a two-day conference and trade show dedicated to advancing Canada’s passenger rail industry through practical dialogue and industry-led collaboration.
It brings together transit agencies, project owners, operators, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and policy leaders under one roof.
The program features technical sessions, lessons learned, safety and sustainability discussions, and forward-looking policy conversations.
An active exhibition hall and live outdoor equipment demonstrations create space for hands-on engagement and business development.
Rail Day offers a focused platform to build relationships, share expertise, and strengthen the delivery of passenger rail projects across Canada.

Conference Theme
The conference is framed around The Passenger Rail Playbook: a structured exploration of the policies, practices, and partnerships needed to support consistent, safe, and effective passenger rail delivery in Canada. The program is designed to surface practical insight, tested approaches, and transferable lessons across policy, capital and risk, technology, safety and standards, workforce development, and market participation—focusing on what can be applied, scaled, and strengthened across the sector.
