Job Description


We’re seeking a skilled bilingual translator to support TRACCS’s bilingual communications and help broaden our reach across Canada. You’ll translate newsletters, web content, and event materials from English to French and occasionally vice versa.


Responsibilities:

  • Translate short and medium-length documents

  • Maintain consistency in terminology and tone

  • Proof translated materials for grammar and clarity

  • Coordinate with the communications team to prioritize tasks

  • Support quality assurance of French-language content on the website


Qualifications:

  • Fluency in written English and French required

  • Experience translating content for a professional or nonprofit audience is an asset

  • Strong grammar and writing skills in both languages

  • Education in translation, linguistics, French studies, or communications preferred

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments
