Job Description


TRACCS is seeking a detail-oriented Copy Editor to support our communications by reviewing text for clarity, tone, and grammar. You’ll help polish newsletters, announcements, event materials, and our website content.


Responsibilities:

  • Review and proofread content for spelling, grammar, and punctuation

  • Edit text for consistency, clarity, and readability

  • Ensure materials align with TRACCS’s voice and messaging

  • Collaborate with content creators and internal teams

  • Flag inconsistencies or unclear phrasing


Qualifications:

  • Excellent command of written English (Canadian spelling)

  • Strong editing and proofreading skills

  • Familiarity with editorial style and tone for nonprofit or industry audiences

  • Education in English, journalism, communications, or related field preferred

  • Familiarity with French content review is an asset
