Job Description


Support the coordination of TRACCS Rail Day and other industry events by assisting with logistics, vendor communications, registration management, and onsite event support. This role offers hands-on experience in event planning and execution within the transit and rail sector. This position is mostly remote, with occasional on-site requirements for events.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning timelines, task lists, and internal coordination

  • Communicate with vendors, exhibitors, and venue contacts

  • Support event promotion through outreach and digital tools

  • Assist with attendee registration and tracking

  • Contribute to the setup, execution, and teardown of events (when on-site)

  • Help gather post-event feedback and support reporting/recaps


Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Interest in event planning, marketing, or the transit/rail industry

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Event Management, Communications, Business)
